The 30A real estate market is all about the ebbs and flows. Living along the coast, it’s hard not to notice the tides. The water rises, the water falls… and real estate markets tend to do the same. Markets go up. Markets go down. And the truth is, it’s not always the perfect time to be a seller.
One of the ideas I talk about in the video is what I call the 10-Year Porch Rule. When you’re thinking about buying a home, ask yourself: “Will I still love sitting on this front porch ten years from now?” Because historically, real estate tends to move up over time, even though there are plenty of ups and downs along the way. The people who do best usually aren’t chasing a quick flip… they’re buying something they actually want to live in and enjoy. Timing matters.
Markets shift. But life along 30A isn’t just about spreadsheets and price charts. Sometimes the real return on investment looks like sunsets, salty air, and long walks on the beach. And those things? They’re priceless. - Bobby J
